bumper question(s)

are stock rear bumpers from a cav and sunfire the same as far as dimensions go? base models, not Z's or GT's. i didn't know if a sunfire rear would appear lower then a cav rear. ( rear will be on a cavalier btw. ) and how much lower would a Z front sit from a base rear?

my plan is to put an 02' 4 door sunfire rear with a 95-02' Z front ( i know about the headlight conversion) and side skirts from an 02' sunfire (if they'll fit). car's a 99'

as long as the fire is a 4door it will fit on a cav

yeah i know the 4 doors will fit. guess what i was trying to say was. will a regular rear bumper look stupid if the car has skirts and a Z/GT front bumper?

95-02 Z front is like 3 different bumpers...

my plan is to put the sunfire rear on and use it's reverse lights as turn signals. but i'd also like to find a Z bumper to replace my stock one. if those two bumpers aren't gonna look right together, then i'm gonna ditch that idea.

You can't use white lights as turn signals, so make sure to put an amber bulb in there. The Z bumpers are all different heights, which one do you want?

Will a 2000-2002 LS Sport rear bumper with a lip fit on on 04 cav. I know that the 95-99 can be made to fit if you add the filler piece.

well i scrapped the sunfire rear idea. found a Z rear at the junkyard. only thing wrong is a little warp on the side from where someone rested the car on a tire. not even noticable unless your really looking for it. one problem though is that there is a little piece of the bumper on top of my pipes. drove around all weekend and don't see any signs of melting, so i guess they aren't getting as hot as i thought they would.
