just wondering if anyone has used or know anyone who has used the type-j body kits for the 95-99 cavalier and how well they fit up or if there is alot of customizing involved?

The Type J kits fit very well in most cases, and won't need much modification compared to most fiberglass kits. If you want the type j front to work on your 95-99 cav, u need the 00-02 headlight conversion as well for the front bumper to fit properly. They're very durable kits, being made out of urethane.

you would probley have to get the hood as well i dont really know about the 00+ hoods but i do know that between the headlights it's wider on an 00 than the 99.

The hood will be fine. The 00 headlights are about a inch bigger to fill in the gap of the body kit. I'm puttin that kit on my 98. I'm not doing the headlight conversion through. I made a filler piece out of metal instead. If you do the metal piece through you have to add lights for turn signals. There ways around the headlights it just depends on how much modding you want to do. Also you might want to make a brackets for the bottom of the front bumper.
