Shipping a bodykit
Friday, March 17, 2006 7:28 PM
I realize at least one time or another someone has shipped a bodykit so my question i....
What did you use??? I recently sold a kit through the classifieds and now I'm debating as how to send it. Any information would be great. Thanks

P.S. It's a fairly cheap kit so I don't want to rape the person on having to ship it truckline or something

Shipping on a bodykit is usually truck freight and is around $150 - $180

UPS ships stuff like that all the time....

Just wrap it up real good, then take it to a UPS Store or hub.

UPS wanted to ship my spoiler when I sold it for 150.. ( 50x32x14) 13 lbs..

I put it in my Fender box.. took it to Greyhound and shipped it priority ( less than 24 hours to get it there a few states away ) for 53 bucks.. something worth trying but im sure they have size constraints

Use the quote system here.. its the same they used when they processed my order so it was right to the penny

DHL DHL DHL.....if you package it yourself(refridgerator box) you can actually schedule them to pick it up at your house and ship it. I paid 68 dollars to have mine shipped from PA to Missouri and it got there in like 3 days.

Thanks for the replies.. Thus far it looks like I will probably be going with greyhound as they seem to be the cheapest. Only problem is that they don't deliver directly to his hometown but I guess we'll work around that. Once again thanks everyone!
