why is my fenders catching??

Hey all i have a one piece front end bumper and fenders are molded together...now the front has been fitting fine for the past few months then all of a sudden the door caught the fender and cracked the @!#$ out of it.....sanded it down and got it to open with out messing up and now i open the pass side door and fine..go for a short drive and bam crack that side..what gives and why is it doing this? is it the car shiftign ir what? shoudl i undo all the bolts and try to slide the front forward a tad?? any help will be awsome..thanks alot,..phil

i would check the bolts, they may have come loose and the front end shifted back slightly. slide the front end forward and tighten down all the bolts that you can.

do you have sideskirts on the car? the temp outside can make the sideskirts shrink a bit and pull the fender back.

i have the stockers on there..hey will be commign off tho and how would i be able to get around this? phil
