i am wondering if any complany sell the templates that go over the old handles and then just weld them to it, so you dont have to use a inch of bondo
When you shave door handles, if they are done right, the should be welded , and repainted ...
Why would you get raped by a company to buy their overpriced sheetmetal? Go to a local metal supplier and get a 12"x12" piece of sheetmetal and then take a piece of paper and use a pencil to trace over the indention after the handles are off. Cut the paper tmeplate out and trace it onto your sheetmetal. Simple as that. Have someone weld it about 1/32" below the surface of the door.
lol you dont bondo closed holes. get a thin piece of like 16 gage sheet metal and do like flip said. if its done right then there is no need to bondo anything. maybe a very very thin layer of body filler to just smooth out the area

would shaved door handles be too much of a hassle for a everyday car??
Depends on how good of a shaved door kit you have. Alot of people have problems with Autoloc systems, including myself. If everything is wired correctly it shouldnt be that bad on a daily driver, all you do is hit a button to open the door.
they also make a new shaved door handle system where you can choose to shave it in. or leave it as is. its called the Magic Touch.
http://www.lafranceautoworks.com/ im not sure about the price. but i think there awsome.
I a mjust asking, cuz all of my body work is craking because of the weather here in florida. i already am fully shaved alla round. but its time for some fresh paint.
your body work is cracking cuz i bet you filled everything w/ bondo which is not what bondo is used for. thats why its cracking

Thats pretty cool.
I agree thats pretty hot, never seen that or even thought of doing that. very intresting...
That looks @!#$ing retarded unless you smooth it over so there is no line around the handle. I might look into it but Id definetaly smooth over the door.
