For the guys that have done it.......which is the best set of plans for the hinges and mechinims. There are a wack of different sellers on e-bay, and I'd rather buy just one good set than get a bunch of useless ones to find the one good one.
I'm pretty fair with metelwork so will be doing all (or most anyway) of my own parts fab....besides, kits and pro instilation is out of my budget (and hardly worth it on a 15-year-old car)

you pay for what your get.
True.........but putting 2 grand or so on a single mod into a car with a book value of 1,000 seems a little....insane.
Besides, I enjoy the fabricating work. The whole point of playing with cars is doing it, not sitting in a parking lot sucking back coffee's after its done.

well a quality set is gonna be like 800 bucks.
hees talking about building his own. am i right??
2nd gens require lots of fabbing, because the hinge is welded on one side, where as on 3rd gens it is bolts all around...
well in that case it shouldn't be that hard all you have to do is get them to fit the door and get them welded on
