Hey guys.. I just went to the junkyard today and got me a new trunk lid and taillight filler panels.. anyways, I was lookin at tails to get but I dont really want any of the aftermarket ones out there. I kind of want to mold in some different taillights, but I can't seem to decide on which ones to do. So basically what I am asking in this thread, is for you guys to give some opinions on some tails to mold in and possible a pic or 2 if you can find them so I can see how it turned out. I've been looking at them and thinking about it for a long time now and it has just come down to this. I didn't even really want to tell anyone I was doing it... but anyways, thanks for the help in advance
Thanks
Shaun

I'm trying to make my own fiberglass Taillight housings, so I can make my own taillights that still fit into the stock location.

now that I look at it.... if you were to fill in the stockers, and then use the lighting from the Bimmer trunk only, I bet that would look sick!

i do love the M3's. i would take the lens off and paint the housing to match. then remount the lens. i believe that would look pretty clean.

I think I like the Mazda 3 ones, and I think I would end up leaving them that color because I may get my car painted black, or atleast a really dark color like a graphite or something once everything is done. I got the new trunk lid installed today so whenever I can get enough extra time and money together I will be getting new tails ( maybe M3 ) and a welder and sheet metal and going at it.
Thanks
