03-05 rear on an 01cavi
Tuesday, March 07, 2006 10:36 AM
Hello guys once agin I'm asking for some knowledge from the org. I am currently in the process of looking for an 03-05 rear bumper for my 01 base modle cav and was wondering if i would need to change any other brakets for mounting. I could only think of needing to change the plastic waffle thing.

Has anybody done this yet, and what if anything needs to be changed? I searched for a while and only came up with 03-05 bumper inserts...but I have to go to work now so any help is greatly appreciated.

Thanks Jeff

all you need to change is the bumper itself. it all bolts up like your current one. may need to cut down the crush guard, but i doubt it

^^to my knowledge all the 00-02 rear also have the filler plates attached, just like the 03-05, but they dont stick out like the 03-05's

I just wanted to see if anybody else had any other things to add. I thought it would be a direct swap, I just didn't want to find out later that i needed a a brace or something thats all. Thanks again for all the input guys.

B Garay----> sorry bud but i have no intentions on selling the filler plates.

Thanks
Jeff

Would that mean that it's possible to switch from 03-05 to 00-02?

You've claimed all this time that you would die for me. Why then are you so surprised to hear
your own eulogy?
