i got the vis trunk for my 04 cav and the look hole isnt cut out whats the best way to cut it out?Or should i just use the button and pop the trunk?and if i just pop it with the button how do i get the lock ogg the cable

i wouldnt bother w/ the lock, just put the latch on and then you can still open it from inside the car or if you have keyless entry w/ the trunk option
okay thats what im going to do.but how do i get the lock off the cable?
