To all the 03-05 cav guys-

I hate my gold rear bowtie, and the front one. I don't want an RK sport CF filler piece (mainly because I'm Broke) And so I want to repaint both bowties. I ask 4 things of you-

1- How to get front bowtie of-
2- How to get rear bowtie off
3- Reccomended type of paint.prep work
4- What to use to put back on.

The only thing is I asked this in the newbies forum and a couple people said you can't get just the rear bowtie off, but I've seen no rear bowtie on stock red piece. Any help here would be appriciated.
PS: Probably painting bowties silver

The front is held on with adhasive and so is the back. Just pull but be careful. You might just want to mask the front one off and paint it on the filler piece as for the back just heat it up with a hair dryer and then start from one end and pull gently. For paint go with base coat to match you car and then clear coat it. Put it back on with some 3m tape(the stuff with the red)

Use a hair dryer and fishing line, PULLING CAN DAMAGE. I too removed the Cavalier LS logo this way. then, clay bar and wax and you're good to go.
I agree with Blue Splash on color.

I will ditto the removal on the rear. The front you can do the same way but pulling the line underneath the emblem is a little bit harder. I am not sure if Steve (bluecavcustoms) or Jason (AplusPerformance) still sell them but I purchased replacement carbon fiber emblems and I think they look good.

I'm not gonna paint it body color just for the reason that when the my car starts getting modded it will be a blue/silver combination, everything is planned out. Just need cash....
