Opinions needed on side skirts

I have a set of side skirtts from a sunfire gt, like the ones pictured on the car below(not mine):

I do not like the way they stick out from the sides of the car and do not line up with the bumpers. I was weighing two options, which are a) put them on with the sunfire door moldings or b) modifying them by trimming the parts off that flare up the sides and making them look more subtle. Let me know what you guys think.

A set of BC2 sideskirts would look very nice.

I like the way the gt skirts look on the cav w/o the door panels. What are you
gonna be doing with the front and rear??

I have a 2000-2002 Z24 front bumper w/ the LS lip, and am debating on 03+LS rear bumper, 00-02 LS rear Lip, WW rear bumper lip, or 95-99 Z24 rear bumper, because I like how it looked on this car:

i'd say put a lip on the bumpers and it'll look pretty good.
