I noticed a cool feature on my ws6 the other day. When you turn the wipers on, they kind of lift up, then start to whipe the windshield, and when you turn them off they go back down hidden.
So is there a way to do this on a cavalier, because the wipers stick way up, look annyoing, and im sure reduce MPG. I was thinking of just molding a "lip" ontop of the hood to hide it, but that is pretty ghetto and not what i want to do.
Ideas suggetsions everythign welcome thanks!
your windshiled wipers aren't affecting your gas mileage, and no there isn't a way to do that whichout spending some serios money, even though its all up to making somethign one off that will work. if your really that concerned pull the wiper arms off and then just pop them on if it starts raining and you need them..... either way your putting way to much thought into this
my 97 cavalier did that.
then i got an 02, and the wipers didnt do that anymore.
pre '00, the wipers tucked down, and after '00 they stayed up. not sure if anyone has swapped them though.
my towncar and crown vic wipers tuck away... most times

My Corsica did that. I liked it, if I hit it by accident it moved like 2 inches, then went back down and didnt' scratch my window.
its the wiper blade motor that does that.... my previous 97 cavalier used to do that....but when my wiper motor stopped working.... I installed the wiper motorn that I got off a 2001 sunfire.... after this, it stopped doing that.....wiper blades just stays where they are....So if you want to do that just go to a junker and find an 95-97 wiper motor and put in in your car

just buy the wiper motor and assembly from a ealry j and swap it in...

You shouldnt have to swap the cowl, just the motor.
ya that was one of the first things I noticed when I bought my 02, my 95 used to do that.
