evo hood question

I just got my hood from VIS and was just wondering.. what kind of damage would it cause if i had the rain guard removed from the main to vents, and it just poured down rain?

water into your intake if any..but i mean flooded

i just got mine as well and i would imagin the u would get quite a bit of water into the engine bay but it shouldnt affect ne thing.. but prolly get everything all wet!

2 let the engine extract more heat making it run cooler! and so u can see whats under the hood when its closed lol!!

Can you remove/reinstall them? I didn't take the time to look at mine before I boxed it back up.

yo guyz i cant find that hood on vis can n e one heip me out and do u know if they make it in fiberglass ne help is greatly appreciated price also requested

as far as i know, it's only made in carbon fiber.

i got mine last week from carbon_innovation off ebay 4 $570 shipped. i took 2 weeks 2 get 2 my house though! as far as i no its only available in cf as well!! i have 2 adjust mine a little but waiting til it gets warm i just need the hood latch 2 pull the hood down farther! and the fitment is actually good all the way round on mine! i got several pics on my cardomain!! www.cardomain.com/ride/833995

The hood fits pretty good but i HAD to use hood pins cause the hood had a lil play in it.

Mines still waiting...for warm weather and locking hood pins. Wierd stuff happens so I figured rather safe than sorry.

Ditto ... same company I purchase mines and I too also have to adjust the hood latch futher down too and might need to adjust the upper assembly just a bit. But overall it's not too bad.

I know that lol...its in my garage. But Shawn must have painted the backing then or what's different on the hood?
