03 type j kit bracing? - Exterior Forum

03 type j kit bracing?

Did anyone who has the type j kit for an 03+ have to do any bracing for the front or back bumper to reduce sagging or anything. I know the front bumper guard has to be cut up but what about brackets or anything?

sorry for the jack but can i get 3 or 4 picts of the end of the front bumper near the wheel well and the start of the rear bumper at the wheel well some one email it to me or post the m up so i can start on this new project of mine. THANX GUYS

yes, but I should of used 1/16th inch instead of 1/8th inch alum.

I didn't have to use any special brackets for the rear bumper, i just had to cut the HARD foam underneith it to alot, to get it to fit good. But the front brackets i had to cut a little... To get them to fit right...
