i was wondering if there were any conversions on it besides the headlights because it seems to me you would have to have fenders and a hood from to '00 model as well
no the fenders are the same from 95-05 and the hoods are the same from 95-02. if you want the type j kit on your 96, you'll need the headlights, corner bracket, corner lights and wire harness since your going from 2 bulbs to 1 bulb. search, this comes up alot
Or you can go with a Sunfire front end with little to no modification....
