on a sunfire, the middle panel on the trunk has red areas on it. anyone know how to remove them from the plastic backuing on the panel?

If you are referring to the "Pontiac" logo in the center of the filler panel, to my knowledge aside from cutting them out, there's no way to remove it.

The reflector panel on the left and right of the filler panel is the same way.

yeah thats the name of it. I assumed it would be cutting but is it possible to remove the backing so i could , o i dont know, instal LEDs?

I don't believe so. You prolly could pick up a 95-99 filler panel and use the reverse light socket for whatever it is you are planning on doing.

I'll pull my filler panel tomorrow (have to change one of the license plate bulbs anyway) and double check the reflector parts on the outer edge of it... Just in case

Well I pulled the panel, and the reflector pieces don't come off.
