Just some clarification on some issues with the exterior stick brought to you of a pround ECOTEC Cavy owner. First off, it is only partially true that 03 up trunks are the same. For some reason, GM decided to start drilling holes all the way across them instead of using 3M body molding taping for that ridiculous excuse of a taillight bar they put in it. If you want to convert to aftermarket taillights you have three options. 1. You can go to the junk yard and buy a 95-02 trunk lid without the holes and use 95-02 taillights 2. You can do it my current way and use 95-02 tails with the RK Sport carbon fiber trunk and taillight trim kit 3. You can do what I am about to do and get the new 03-05 altezza clear or black set that goes all the way across just like the original...either way, it's gonna cost ya UNLESS you can find a trunk the same as yours. Also, ALL 95-02 Cavys and ONLY 4 DOOR 95-02 Sunfires use the same trunk lid. The same body stylings match for 03-05 trunks as well...JUST REMEMBER 03 up HAS THE HOLES ACROSS THE TRUNK. Also, there is another discrepency I want to point out to help everyone...YES, 95-02 ARE the same fenders EXCEPT that little tab you can modify. However, 03-05 ARE NOT the same fenders. I hope these contributions help clear up any confusion.

Here is my car, with 95-02 fenders, and an 03 bumper:
No modifications were done to get the bumper to fit, I just walked up to my car, and set the bumper on. Same fenders.

there were no sunfire sedans in 03-05 only coupes.

Haha...very funny guys..I prolly deserve to get reemed over that one because I was half asleep when I did all that. I hadn't been on JBO on a while so I thought What The Heck. So, I apologize for all this crap that I aparently started. From now on I guess I will make sure I am wide awake when I do this. But you gotta admit that it is stupid for GM to make some trunks with holes and some without. For God's sake, they have been putting crap on with 3M body molding tape for years. So, why in the world did they drill holes in 4 door Sunfires and 03 up Cavys? Seems to me it would have been easier to just make one part and leave it at that. Surely GM isn't so tight that they won't pay for the adhesive instead of drilling holes?

no your wrong again, its the same trunk whether or not it has holes drilled for the tail light filler or spoiler does not affect the fitment.
Well for one, if I was wrong, I wouldn't wrong "again." But you can't say something with holes, and one with holes is the same trunk. The whole point that he said that originally is for people who want to interchange tail lights and such, which you couldn't do without it looking like @!#$.

im just saying they will fit, im not trying to start anything. i have seen a 00-02 cavalier driving around here with a sunfire trunk and outer tails on it. it looked pretty goofy but i thought id add that in because it can be done. and the tail lights would be interchangeable, if you wanted to do it.

Dear god! If anyone running this site reads this...please delete it. I shouldn't have even been awake when I started it. But for the record, I know everything but 2 door sunfire trunks on 3rd gens will bolt to each other...I'm just saying that it was stupid not to make one part when double sided adhesive would have allowed it. Hey Superfast??? If they do fit...I'll sell someone with a 4dr fire my 03+ stock lights.
