At my work (GM Dealer) I am in the situation where I can get HID's with the balasts the projector lamps and all for what I think is a really good price from a guy in the body shop......He gets parts like this all the time and says he thinks these were from a Nissan of some sort......
My questions are......
1) Does anyone have any idea what 'K' I could compare these to for a kit, like 5300K for example...Just want to know roughly what colour they will be.....
AND MORE IMPORTANLY
2) what kind of risk is this to my wiring harness.....would I be better off to buy a kit made for my car which would be a lot more money and just use the projectors...

You can make them work with your harness, you will just need to cut it. Most stock HID systems are 4300K. How much does he want for them?

Yeah I know it is not hard to get them in and have them work, especially cuz EVERYTHING is included, but I have been told that it is a risk tot he harness of my car,,,,,could take a week could take 10 years but it 'could' fry........
for the HID's, Ballasts, and full projector he is charging $100 Canadian
as it turns out a buddy of mine is going to buy them for his Integra and will give me the kit he has in his car which is an actual kit, not from another car stock.....its a 4300 McCulloch the only down side is the bulbs are 9006 so we are going to see if they will fit if not thenI will have to go buy 9007 bulb,,,,,,,this guy is like a brother to me and is not going to make me pay for anything, unless the 9006 dont fit....what a guy

I should add although its $100 Canadian I dont know if that is good so let me know but I thought it was a really good deal and then only reason he is letting them for for cheap is cuz I am a co-worker, he would/could probably get more for them......so in this case it just goes to show once again, its not what you now its who you know
