OK I have crazy bad oxidation on my carbon fiber hood! Does anyone know what I can do to get it not looking like @!#$. Today it was waxed and polished and even used some really fine grain wax stuff. but nope still not looking good. I'll take some pictures a little later to maybe make it clearer whats wrong with it. Thanks for any advise

Try Meguires body scrub. Its non abrasive and is designed to remove oxidation from paint without hurting it. I don't know if it will work on CF but for the 6 dollers for the bottle it may be worth a shot. And since its non abrasive I know for a fact that it won't hurt your hood.
Good Luck

is it fogged up really bad? may need to get it re-cleared
yep, id re-clear it just to be safe.
Yeah I was thinking that it was at the point for a new coat. Does anyone know how much its gonna cost me? I just found out that I might have a bad bearing where my transmission and axle are. So dollars might get a little tight for awhile but I cant let a carbon fiber hood go to @!#$!

you know what Im not actually sure if its just the gel coat or not. Im the second owner of the hood. Im going to have to check on that. Is there any good indications that I can look for to tell me one way or the other?

if money is gonna be tight for a while and you can't get the hood taken care of, you should put your stock hood back on (if you still have it) and put the hood somewhere out of the elements so it doesn't get worse until you can fix it.
You could always try a clay bar, I've had good results with them.
