ok i need a new reverse light assembly for the rear of my 2001 pontiac sunfire . they are on the bumber . i was wondering if they would fir on the front where the fog lights are too . that way i have clear in back and clear up front . if so i will go ahead and get 4 reverse light assemblys with lenses and all and put 2 in back and 2 in front . what yall think ? any help is greatly appreciated
The reverse lights are angled, whereas the front ones are not. Might work though, but why not just get 95-99 GT front blinkers?

also, the front uses a halogen bulb (like your headlights) and the backup light uses a incandescent (like your brake/tail/turns).
wouldn't there be a lot less usable lights?

^^ No offense, but what you just said is completely inaccurate. The front blinkers take a 3157 bulb (like your tails) and the reverse lights take either a 194 or a 921 (like sidemarkers or dome lights). These are 00-02 reverse lights we're talking about.

yeah you're right. for some reason when i read that i thought he was talking about using the reverse lights in teh fog lights position.
for the fog lights it would be accurate but since he was talking about the turns, you are correct.
