Ok, i have settled on what paint im going with. 2 tone, front half sky blue, rear pink, divided diagonally. BUT, my friend came up with an idea i had never thought of that seemed pretty cool, but i dont know if it would look good. The idea is this: 2 tone, with the same colors, but divided vertically through the middle of the car. in other words, when u see the car on one side in looks pink, and when u see it on the other side its blue, and well u guys can imagine what it looks like through the middle. my car is currently in the shop getting all the body work finished, and paint time is near, something like towards the end of the week or next week. so what do u guys think?good idea? or bad idea?
^^ yea i figured most of u guys didnt like pink, but i think it can be pulled off. Theres a huge carshow in my city every year, last year, the winner for best of show was a pink integra. it looked real good.
I think a pink car can look good if, 1:it is the right shade and 2: if it has a good combination of graphics and color on the graphics to make it flow
and also (sorry...didn't read whole post) I think that your 2 tone could look good if done correctly, I think if it were a straight, solid line it would attract the eye to that point too much and make it just not look right, it would need to be a very gradual fade of the colors blending together. with the right fade, either the diagonal cut or the vertical cut will look great

if you paint it that color it would be the perfect car for pat from snl. you wouldnt know if its a guy or a girls car

as of this year, my car is no longer a daily driver. it will only be driven to and from shows. so i think it should work out, but im not sure on which way to go with it (diagonal, cut in the middle)
By "cut in the middle" do you mean like straight down the side of the car from front to back or accross the roof like a front half and a back half ?

i mean like cut in half through the middle accross the roof. so when u see it from the left side, its pink. from the right side, its blue. u get me? and the diagonal division i mean across the door, divided from the front lower portion of the sideskirt, to the top rear corner of the door, get it?
Gotcha ! If I HAD to pick one or the other I'd say your idea is beter then your buddies.

I can kinda understand your reasoning behind those colors, but for real man, its just gonna scream gay. I'd highly suggest a different color/paint scheme. It almost seems like you're so heart-set on being custom and different, that you don't care how it looks overall, either that or just really bad taste. But hey, who am I to judge, its your car do whatever. Thats just my opinion on the progress I've seen of your car over the past while. i would say that if you are set on using pink and being different, to either do it with black or white, or a color like that to have good contrast. doing this it will be tastefully done, when you do it with sky blue or a lime green, that kind of takes the clean look away as well. wild cars can still look clean and alot of it is about choosing the right color schemes. make sure you do what you like, but be careful about what color you chose to go with pink...and i think that you're idea is ALOT better of an idea than you're friends about splitting it down the middle (each side different)
