well first off, i am trying to remove the housing from the whole assembly so that i am less risking damaging it, and to give me more room to work. but i really dont want to break it, and end up buying another headlight. so if anyone can help me here that would be great........ also what is the best way to remove ALL of the sealant fromt he assembly? somone told me a dremal with a brush... any other ideas? thanks

you could try baking them...thats what most people do.

well i got good news for anyone else with this question, i ended up getting frustrated and pulling really hard on it. well 2 things happened. the mounting bracket came off of the housing, but it also sliced the @!#$ out of my shoulder. so after it stopped bleeding, i got my @!#$ done... haha so beware, take extra caution when doing this.... haha
