alright guys im goin to let the cat out of the bag on what my car will look like this spring. Unless you guys give me new ideas.
rundown-
shaved doors (climb over the top), shaved trunk, 03 civic tails, 19"s, (maybe shaved mirrors)

give me ideas and opinions please. i know its different but thats what i like, as you guys may know. I want the exterior to be clean cut but show winning. The interior is where im going nuts. Thanks!
i was actually going to do that with my next project car...but i changed my mind
anyways, i think you should go all the way with the shaved theme, unlike what i see in that pic. for instance, if you shave the doors, then you should make the interior door panels and dash one piece, same with the door panel and the rear panel. basically i wanted mine to look like I could fill it up with water if I wanted to.
oh and I would also get rid of the door windows, so that you could smooth that over to
and the vert top, I'd get rid of that to.

Dan Morrison- ya man the whole interior is going to be all glass and one peice. I spent tons and tons of money for my interior a lot of entertainment lol, the interior will be nutz!. The shade of blue im going to do is something totaly different and awesome. I talked to west coast customs Mad Mike in person the other day, and i asked how they did this special color they did on one of their escalades and he told me the trick, so you guys will love the color trust me! ha ha
I think youll miss being able to open the doors.
well....its different... im not so sure about the civic tails. maybe some tails from somethin a little more high end rather.
saw it at ass in the grass last year or this year i don't remember but it was insane looking the only thing i didn't like was the way the doors flow into the side skirts . flow them together and it would look great. i thought about doing this to a 2nd gen a while back. but i need to finish one project first
^^ someone did a chop of them and they dont look bad. i thought the same thing when i heard about the idea though.

make one of those tonneau(sp?)covers like the one person is making for his sunfire to cover up the back seat and it would look pretty sweet!!!

The doors on that eclipse are starting to show through so I'd say go for it if you shave the doors so you can't tell. You did good work on the green car so I think you can pull it off
I think it sounds sweet. I like the no doors idea. Very slick.
my main concern would be on entering and exiting, its a show car so it has to stay nice and not to mentiong your going to have to step on the seats to get in and out. any metal on shoes could cause damage or scuffs on the finish if u hit it. not to mention the weight all centered in one small section of the seat could cause wear quickly.

Is it your usuall drive or is it just for show? because the biggest thing is getting in and out . youll get some scracthes and scuffs.
I have to say the topless look is nice but the no doors ummm no! I know it would still look clean with some shaved door handles and lockes imo.However the civic tails im with you on that one.

even if you use a ladder you'd have to step on your seats which im hoping would be too nice to step on
so you'd have to jump and just land in sitting position and hope you didnt hit anything with your feet
i dunno i thot about doing a similar project but the getting in and out is kinda important
do it! but get rid of the window also whats the point of them? and deff make the interior one peice. that would suck if you slipped getting in and cracked the fiberglass or scrached it or something but i think it would be cool. i would never do it thought cause you would never get the money you spent on it back and all that would be a little out of my range.
