Anyone here used water based auto paint?

I've been reading a lot about these, and everything about them sounds very cool.
I'd like to get some input from someone who has tried them.
Since they're pretty cheap, I may just order some small amounts and experiment.

Seriously, what are the problems with it?
Everything I have read is positive. It is supposed to coat more evenly, waste less, and because it is not catalyzed, does not have a working window to deal with.
I'm looking for some specific issues, comments, etc. from someone who has used it.

I've heard water-based paints give off not near the shine as regular paint does. But be prepared we're heading towards water-based automotive paints only due to government regulations.

I was talking more about the clear than the paint itself. This came from a painters mouth that I talked to who has used both water based paint and the paint that is currently mass used.

My Corsica had water based primer... it looked like it had cancer after about 5 years.

They don't have a good water based primer or clear yet.

Yes, Auto-air Color is water based, and that's what I'm looking at.

The auto industry is defintely heading toward this for many reasons, but the EPA is the biggest.

I'm going to order some of this stuff up and experiment with it. I'll post up some results when I have something done.

Thanks for the responses all.
