for those with HID kits, how should the bulb sit inside the projector--does the skinny part of the lamp faces up or down? I am trying to get those lines that you guys get in the light projection.

With the 9006, the bulb will only go in 1 way- because of the 2 tabs on the headlight bulb..
They have to go in the right tabs, and turn to lock in.
