im looking to start shooting some primer, i want something that will shoot high build primer without any issues and something that isnt going to break the bank. i dont plan on doing any painting with it, just wanting to be able to primer my projects easily. any suggestions. any nossels sizes i should look into so i dont get the wrong gun?

For shooting primer you'd want to look into something with a 1.8 or 2.0 needle, depending on how thick you want your primer.

For best spraying you can find a Sata or Iwata for a decent price... they spray very nicely.

yup sata personal perference my primer gun is a 1.6 base is 1.3 clear is 1.4
the bigger the air cap size the more material comes out
so i suggest a 1.6, for primer

in order to switch out the air cap you will also switch out the air cap the needle and the fluid nozzle, basicly comes as a kit
but as you can
the kits for the sata`s are close to 200 bucks

Here's an HVLP kit that won't break the bank from DeVilbiss. It comes with both a 1.3mm tip and a 1.8mm tip. I've always had good luck with DeVilbiss guns, even the lower end ones.
