i have my custum exhaust done before i had the z24 bumper on. i put the z bumper on and i love the way it looks. look at the pictures in my profile. i know you can see much but you can see how much muffler sits and its not all hanging and stupid looking. it clears the bumper just find with no cutting of the bumper at all

i've got plenty of plastic burnt out of my Z bumper because I had my catback made before when I was on the base bumper. And then the Z bumper went on... and well.... yea I've got curled black carbon / plastic all over the bottom now.

I was a retard, and now I'm permanently banned.

Not that great of a picture, but my muffler is set lower than bumper, and sits 1/2" to 3/4" inside my bumper line.
Hope that helps. Oh no burnt bumper here.

Best idea is putting something stock looking on versus a ricer pipe, but hey, what do I know. Magnaflow does make nice polished oval stock looking mufflers, along with regular non polished versions. You probably don't wanna fork out the money though.

I have the stock Z rear without a cut out.. havent seen any burn makrs on teh bumper and it does sit up close to it.. just not touching..Honestly i think it looks really nice from any angle.. esp with the slanted tip.. Also i have it sticking out where the bottom of the slant is even with the edge of the bumper..

In the last pic its just showing u sumwhat how far it sticks out..
and
After looking at the ground pic the bumper has a small cut it looks like.. dunno if thats stock or the shop did that cuz they were worried bout the muffler body hitting it.. but its not noticable from bumper level or higher..
