So I have had my kit for about a year now and a month ago the shock broke. Well joe replaced the shock for me butmy problem now is the door doesnt want to align right. I tried to put the hinge back on today and the door wants to rub the part where the latch is inside the door. Does anybody have and answers to what I need to do.
i'll try that tomorrow already dark. anybody else have suggestions
im with him i think that might be it but what do i know mine have never been aligned right since i got it. lol it doesn't show too much but good luck.
I put my driver's side on yesterday(it was late, we were tired, passenger's going on soon) and it doesn't align right either. The door is too far to the right leaving a horrible gap between the fender and the door and giving the door an overbite. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

why would you take the whole hinge off because of a broken strut... i would have just adjusted it so it opened and shut normall and left the hinge on
You may have to grind out the holes where the bolts go or grind down the washer to make the door slide over more.

We grinded down the washers and ended up replacing the bolt. We'll have to try grinding the holes. I'd really prefer that as a last resort, but any other ideas?

Yeah if you grind the holes you can't send the hinges back because of it being a modification to the hinge. I already asked about that lol. so i would really advise finding something besides that unless you cant.

Yea because I love the lambo thing, it's just coming with more troubles than I expected(definitely worth it though for the gasps and the "On a cavalier?!", I love being the first in my county to have them). Well, I'll check back tomorrow.

back last Feb. when i bought mine, they went on fairly smooth, i shut the doors, with the wondows down, used 3 ratchet straps to hold the door in the exact spot it was in, took the fenders off, made sure the lambo hinge adjustment screws were all out all the way, installed em, adjusted em till the screws were snug, but not real tight, took the straps off, opened and closed and adjusted them untill they opened and closed perfect, applied loctite, repeated the adjusting and testing, worked like a charm, 3 hours, both doors done...
On the other hand....you have other fingers.
