looking for carbon fiber hood for 97 2.4, either oem or predator. used or new. Who would you guys suggest to get it from? just trying to see who has good hoods and good service/shipping time.

im pretty sure it would because it doesnt say that it has hood latches and it just states 1 Piece solid fiberglass underside

That hood does not need hood pins. They are always recommended with aftermarket hoods, but they're not required with that hood.
The latch area is strong, so pins aren't 100% neccessary.

i only ask because my friend has a 99 cougar with a c/f hood and he has had it on for the past four years and does not have hood pins and his hood is fine.

how is the fitment on that last hood? and do you have hoodpins? i want that hood, but i know VIS makes good stuff so im partial to going with them.
the fitment is EXCELLENT..no hoodpins are required since u use the stock latch, and i asked the manufacturer and they recommend NOT using pins. This is a fully functional hood, the weave is near perfect, and has a VERY nice finish to it. I chose this over VIS Evo hood, and i'm sure glad i did.
