I did a search of a few different ways this could be asked, and I didn't find anything in the posts the I looked in that answered my question. So if I overlooked one, please feel free to post the link to that post on here.
What I have...
1998 Chevrolet Cavalier Sedan (2.2L)
First of all, how do I change the brake lights in the spoiler? (I know the bulbs are 912s/921s depending on the manufacturer)
and, if it is required...
How do I take the spoiler off?
I know of 5 nuts & screws that are holding it on but when I took them off and tried to pull the spoiler off, it wouldn't give. Are there any other adhesives or such holding it on? Or is the sealant from the nuts just being a b*tch and making things difficult? Or is there another trick to getting at those lights? I tried going in through the lens itself, but I couldn't shimmy the housing out through the hole in the spoiler.
Thanks bunches in advance!!!
It is very rare for wolves to hunt humans unless they are desperately hungry. However, it is very common for cougars to hunt young men whenever they are desperate and drunk.
The way i did it was just remove the lense i believe. You shouldnt have to take the whole spoiler off the trunk to get to the bulbs. Just keep tryin.
Well i figured i would use my LAST post of the month on this.. Looking on my spoiler there are 2 phillip head screws in the lense..one on each end, it would make sense to just undo those 2 screws and the bulbs should be right there.. pull the old ones out, push new ones in? I wouldnt think u would have to take off the whole spoiler to change a bulb..
Yeah, that's what I tried doing with going through the housing itself, but the lens and housing are all one piece. At least that's what it seems like. I didn't want to risk breaking it.
