I searched but couldn't find what I was looking for. Basically I came across some older picks of Mulls Cavalier. He used to have some doors that caught my attention. I cant seem to find any better shots of the doors.
Does anyone have any info on this? Basically is looks like a hinge and a shock to hold the door up? Has anyone other then him tried it?
It looks somewhat simple, little modification and might be a little different then the lambos.
Thanks.
Here's some pics
Well can I tell you that they didn't do that again cause it took like 2 people to use the doors. I don't think you want to clime out the window and have a friend open your door.
I seen the car in person when it looked like that, I looked at it not cause I was interested in the door at the time but just b/c I wanted to see how he did it. It looked like a lambo door hing that would fold out wards (away from the inteior). I don't know how practical it would be for always opening and closing the door.
if you ask me his doors looked like complete ass back then, open they where fine but closed there was a huge heavy duty door hinge sticking out, and i dont think if you drive your car everyday it will work cause i would think it would leak
R.I.P. Brian Klocke, you will never be forgotten
Ask Z2flip4 for pic's from the bodyshop that did the work. I just remember they had pic's of it.
atleast his engine can watch a movie on long trips...

sucks really bad that it turned out the way it did. In talking with him at the last picnic he was mentioning about how he was told "NO" on some of his major design decisions.
