i was reading a few days back about how the apc ones blow fuses and what not. but wanted to try for my self and sure enough, blew the @!#$ out of the fuse. so they are going back today. thank god for pepboys. but my question is, are there any brands out there that i shouldnt have a problem with? or am i just doomed?

its a unit that plugs into the stock socket, just resisters and leds it self. but as soon as i turned the car on with it plugged in it blew my fuse. 3 times....
yeah thats what i was talking about..............
thats wierd cuz LED's don't draw as much power.....

Put in a slightly higher amp fuse? Seems odd that it's blowing them.

Well i try and stay away from anything APC.
But after i did my 2K headlight conversion i got some 3157 LED bulbs in white from superbrightleds.com and they plugged right in to the socker for my corner lights, i also have the saem bulbs but in red in the tailights, and i have no problems blowing bulbs.
But my problem is that after i put in just tyhe taillight bulbs the signals were faster like you get with a burned out bulb, and when i put in the front LED bulds i no longer have turn signals, at first it would just come on and not even bllink buit not the flasher will buzz anytime you try to turbn on the hazards or turn signals.
I tried a new flasher and same thing.
IS the only way to fix this to get the resistors wiried in at each LED bulb,i tried to find a flasher made specific for LEDs but the problem is the car uese basically a standard bocsh type relay as a flasher, maybe i could rewire the plug?
Anybody got any ideas??
