I like the look of the 2000+ headlights, but I drive a 98. Eventually Im going to get a body kit but probably either the 2000+ wings west kit (avenger I think) or the Type J front end. I was wondering how much it costs to do and whats involved with the swap?
There are no body mods needed to do this all there is is the wiring right?
SEARCH
For christ sakes its everywhere on here. 4th button from the right under the heading of the thread. Search, and not just once use different words, phrases, forums, etc. Search for a good 30 minutes and i guarantee you will find it.

Wah! This is not a library its a forum, look both up in a dictionary!
Yes the 2k+ headlights are bigger. A bracket has to be mounted and the bumper has to be modified. You are best off to buy an aftermarket bumper for 2k+. Mounting this stuff is not for an ameteur, cutting the inside of the fender is required.

What the hell does that mean? They need to search because its been posted a million times. Dave didn't put the search button up there because it looked cute. IT WORKS!!!!!!! If they took 20-30 minutes and did some searching on there own they would have found the answer. And if they really want to do this swap they are gonna need to search around here to fully understand everything involved. Instead of being lazy and asking for someone else to just give you the info. Search first then ask if yoiu have any questions.

Some of you people never have enough time to post an answer, yet they have the time to post complaining "search". If you have nothing nice to say don't bother. Move on to another post. I can't stand people who cry "search search search" when they take the time to post a reply, with as much as you already said you could have simply posted him a link in as much effort.

"You can lead a horse to water but you can't make it drink"
This applies here. Because hopefully next time he will search instead of making a post. Yeah I could have responded with what the guy was asing for but what happens next time he has a question that cuold have been answered by doing a little re
search . Hopefully next time they can find the information their selves instead of haveing someone hand it to them.

Then don't bother posting, ignore them. You could have helped someone in all the time you spent arguing.

why ignore it? I tried to help the guy. Let him know exactly how he could easily access the info he was looking for. Don't worry about what i do with my time.

Like Mennitti posted its not the easiest swap to do. You have to unbolt the end of the fender to install the bracket that the hedlights hook to and you have to cut out all the corner light stuff in the fender to get the clearence for the new corner light.
I have glass fenders for a 95-99 and it took me about 2 hours each side to get it done, looks good when done, only wish the glass fenders had a better fit.
