New 95-99 black housing projectors?
Saturday, October 15, 2005 11:06 AM
I did a couple searches to see if these were posted before. I didnt see anything so sorry if I missed a previous post. Just wondering everyones thoughts on these. They remind me of the 2003+ cavalier headlights, just in a 95-99 casing. They look like they have clips holding the headlight casing together so maybe they could be easily opened and painted body color? Only $150 shipped as well... So lets here some opinion.....

i have delt with these for the cavs, mustains and denali's. has to be the cheapest quality prjectors i have ever delt with. i would purchase some better ones and mount them into the housing if i was you. but this is just my opinion. i can show you what these look like taken apart vs. other projectors if you'd like. shoot me an email and ill take some pics for you so you can make your own desicion. good luck man.

I was debating on if I should get these also. Looks like the inner lights are regular bulbs and the outers are projectors?

Yeah, I'm still on the fence. I like the otehr style with the 2 projectors and all in black but I've heard some mixed reviews on those too...

No offense but it looks like they dont really mend well with the lines. They look like thyre just held in their and not placed well in there. Did you buy the ones posted up top?

they are not even projector housings. they are lenses held on frame work that is hidden behind the black piece of metal. the rear housing is actually molded/part of the rear housing of the headlight. i am just letting you know because i was VERY disappointed when i received them. so i want to make sure you dont feel as "scammed" as i did when purchasing these. there are ALLOT of different projectors you can fit into your housing and go to me or whiteboy to make you some clear lenses. or like i said prior, you can purchase these and mount some "better" projectors in there. i am not hating on anyone who has these, i just didnt get what i was expecting, thats all. good luck to you.
