I'm wanting to get some toyo or altezza tail lights for my 04 cav, but i dont like the whole trunk bezel, would a deck lid and rear fenders from a 95+ fit my cav?

First off finish your registry, it will help with future references. The trunk deck from a 95 cavalier will fit on your 04 if you do not like the rear tailight lense in the middle. That way you can eliminate the center lense. I don't understand what you want to do with the fenders though. Those go on the front of the car, not the back.

the rear fenders are not fenders. they are part of the car you cant just unbolt them.
and like he said above the trunk will fit. i have one on my car.

It's all the same to some people, you know what I am talking about. I don't mind the tail light lens in the trunk, I just want some clear tails, but i dont want to spend more money on that carbon fiber bezel to get them when i can go to a salvage yard and find a trunk and rear 1/4 panels. Im also not that big on carbon fiber.

what do you need rear quarter panels for, you can switch the lights without welding on a different quarter panel, unless you are trying to do some kind of conversion, and yes the outer tails will fit right inside the rear panels, you will just have the outer tails sitting lower because the center lense is mounted on the trunk, were on previous years, there isn't a center lense.

I'm confused about this also. People say the outer tail lamps from, say, a 99 will fit an 03-05. But the outer tails on a 99 sit in a recess mount in the quarters. The 03-05 outers are flush or surface mounted. The 03-05 quarters are not recessed where the outer tails mount like the 95-02 are. So how can a 95-02 outer tail light fit on an 03-05 quarter panel? Hope this is not too confusing.

Hey Lees, i understand what you are talking about because that carbon fiber kit from rksport has two pieces that go around your outer tails so you can fit clear tails from 95-02.

all you have to do is get the new trunk lid and get some 95-02 tails pod them in and you're done that's it.

The only aftermarket tails I was aware of for the Cavy's was the altezzas or carbon fiber ones. I've never heard of "toyo's" and I can't find them anywhere -_-

Toyo is short for Toyota, as in Toyota Cavalier, which was made in Japan from 1996 to 2000 if I am not mistaken
