The 12v voltage regulators, don't use em. WIth the car off, lights on, they will act as a resistor and the LED's will be too dim to see. I ran a test with my amber plate and now have to rewire it. Same deal with the reds.
Run the input voltage as 13.8 on the wizard to get the correct resistors, just to be on the safe side.
John Piparo wrote: Thats extreme overkill as far as the amount of LEDs that you have planned there, and I guarantee that you will not need nearly as many. In my tails, I only used 3 rows of 6 red LEDs, the bottom row is for parking, and the top two are for brake/blink, and I threw in 3 white LEDs in the corners for reverse. And I was told from friends following behind me that if, anything, they were a bit too bright.
What I would suggest to you if you plan on doing that, is to simply figure out a way to dispurse the light to cover the entire area that you want, rather than filling in the entire area with LEDs. The way you have them plotted out now will just be too much work, and probably turn out too bright, and look like city bus tail lights.

you might want to run the LED's in parallel(sp) instead of in series. I've found that more than 3 LED's in series can cause some problems depending on the LED
