i was looking in the performance auto and sound magazine today and there was an RKSport ad. it has a picture of the turbo sport hood but said Ram Air hood, someone help me out here?

They are both TOTALLY different things - the ram air name and style for the Cavalier have been out for YEARS.

ram air hood is completely different then the turbo sport hood.

turbo sport had the scoop going into the hood where as the ram air it is "off " the hood persay like it goes up
^^ thats what i was thinking.....but there was a picture of the turbo sport hood....with "ram air hood" over it. but now that i think about it....i think there are 2 types of hoods, induction and ram air. so that was just saying it was one of the ones that rammed air in i guess....?

now see how the turbo sport scoop actually goes into the hood and the ram air is almost set onto the hood ? major difforance but i believe same effect

THe ram air hood for the cavalier was designed off of the camaro. The turbo sport hood was designed off of the "Turbo Sport" Edition of the cavalier. Nothing to get excited about really. The camaro ss hood looks pimp imo.

ya i guess rksport just decided 2 name the cobalt hood different! i just wish they would come out with the turbo sport hood for the 03-05 cavaliers!
well heres the thing i dont believe rksport is even the one to make the hood , atleast they werent the first to put it into production that i know of. a guy on here actually made the hood first for production (possibly gravana ) but dont quote me on that
quite possibly one of 3 hood's i would of put on my car that one being my first choice
