I'm starting to get annoyed at the fact that between the headlights of the 03+ Type J Front bumper. I live in Md and have to have a front tag and I was thinking of taking my tag off the grill mesh and frenching it to the bland area of the bumper?
Think that would look tacky or good?

Tag does equal license plate.
I'm not sure as to the tackiness of frenching it. I would leave it on the mesh. That way, if you show your car, easy removal of the front plate.

thats why i dont like the type j front for 03+... it just looks kinda awfun with that big space...
i don't think it would be too bad if the plate was recessed into that area of the bumper. i'm curious to see what it would look like.
