im not too sure what this is called, but my dad has a 05 cavalier and he hates the red strip, i guess thats what it is, that runs across the trunk. i know they make a carbon fiber replacement for it, so does anyone know where i can get them, or does anyone have pictures of it..

I think RKSport has them.
The red strip is just a reflector, some people call it the light bar but whatever. Anyways, RKSport makes the carbon fiber replacement you're speaking of, its called the CF Bezel. Check www.rksport.com for pics of it, and you can order it anywhere that sells RK Sport parts.
