I would like to do a suicide front clip on my 97 cavalier. Kinda like the yellow one on top of the .org homepage. I guess what I'm asking is does anyone know anything bout that car of have any ideas how to pull it off?
So far I know:
I will need to either make my fenders and hood into one piece or buy a full fiberglass front clip.
I will need to find a hinge assembly to make this work.
I will need to somehow make a headlight buckets on this new front end to bolt my projectors to. (so they move w/ the front end) and also extend the headlight wiring harnesses.
Can anyone please give me any insight as to where to get a F/G front end and maybe a starting point on the hinges? Also any other info on that car would be sweet. Thanks in advance.

the full fronts are out there.. but its way to much time, effort, and money for a mod that went out of style in the 80's IMO
I appreciate the info man. But I kinda like the looks and it's something completely different than anyone else I know is doing.
Anyone have any more info or tips on doing this? What hinges, etc?

i had a site i posted a long long time ago about full fiberglass panels.. if you google search cavalier fiberglass body youll be alright on finding it

Karo @carcustoms has a full fiberglass front but that's kind of streached for a drag look I believe. Maybe some glass fenders hood and front bumper. It will have to raise up then tilt out so it will be able to clear the ground. I have 2 of these lesabre hinges if you just want to do the hood.. I dont need them.
so then are the hinges free??
or how much do u want for them??
