I contacted the guys at Carbon By Design and asked them about making the turbo sport hood int he 3rd gens. They said they wouldnt because of lack of interest, I know there a lot of guys on here that will probaly want that hood so if we can get enough people interested in that hood then they should make it.

I'd be VERY interested but the prices they keep giveing make me lose interest fast.
Price it the same as say a 99 cars hood you know around $300.00for fiberglass and
maybe $450.00for carbon fiber and I'd buy one tomorrow but seeing how they allways want some stupid price like $600.00 for fiberglass and $800.00 for carbon fiber and they can't see why theres no interest? Hmmm matbe they should think about that for a minute andmaybe it'll hit them.
Price it reasonable and you sell the hell out of them.
Price it too high and you'll go thru hell trying to sell them.
Make it a reasonable price and call me I'll buy one.

Yep the ridiculous price they always throw out is what kills them. There is no reason it should be more than the 97-2002 one. Price it right and half the .org would prolly own one. I know i would.

Hey heres another good idae.......... Make them to fit the sunfires too maybe the cost could be broke down a liitle more if you doubled your target buyers.

Gravana already tried to do a groupl purchase for the hood and it fell through. There wasn't enough of an intrest

/\ /\ /\ /\ Theres wasn't enough interest about the Gravana G.P. cause of the back asswards way they wanted to sell them. Send them the money and wait to see if you get the hood? Thats just stupid. Show me the hood and for a reasonable price of which they could not do and I'd buy one in a heartbeat. But don't expect me to be on board with a G.P. that involves giveig them my hard earned money and then I get to kick back and wait till... Gee noone realy knows how long? And then I might get a hood or I might get my money back. And they wondered why noone was interested? Hmmm,
I wonder how any business thats run like that can re-main in business at all.

Well jackalope how do you think the other cavies got there Turbo Sport hoods? they paid upfront and waited(sorta like how the coilovers are getting done). Sometimes that is the only way, but alot of people like yourslef do not liek to wait so we will probably never see this hood made. I would totally trust Gravana on such an endeavor but i doubt he is gonna try again anytime soon. One day maybe we will get this hood.
If anyone really wants it IPP makes a hood that is almost identical but has some extra stuff on it. Sells for around 500+shipping in CF.

I wasn't saying anything bad about Gravana at all. But if I were to tell my wife i'm spending $500.00 on a hood and that it might arive some time next year or I'll get the money back...... Oh whenever they decide to send me a check she'd look at me like I was nuts!! I don't mind spending money for parts I've done it more times then I'd care to remember but never has any company ever said send us the money and we'll see
what we can do. Thats nuts! I'm not saying Gravana isn't trust worthy thats not the point. The point is if I spend the money I want my part.
