I really don't think it will make a big difference in MPG, it's really used for down force.

i know it will only work at like 100+. this is off the new shelby GT500. http://static.howstuffworks.com/gif/shelby-cobra-9.jpg
the one i want to make will make more downforce.

Why would you put that on a stock car?

I admit, I do like them, but for appearance purposes only. I dont think j-bodies would ever be in a drafting/highspeed situation to make them effective.

it would be sweet to have some one say wtf is that under you car. well if i ever get rid of the stupid speed limiter and reach 150 mph my car will handal pretty good.

and you could decrease drag if you made the under side of you car smooth. which would increase you mpg. people who have there car lowered and with some body kits will get better mpgs. i am sure you all have noticed the rear wheel well covers on the insights? they are there to lower drag. if you lower drag you will put the power you have to better use.

those covers are primarily there to keep dirt salt rocks and brake dust out, Yes they do lower drag but not by much. If your turning that into a track car you have A LOT of suspension work to do. It will get real expensive if your planning on going 150 around a track.
