I have a chip in the paint on my hood, and its a black car. Its no bigger than the end of a pencil eraser, but its just right there, and it sticks out to me. Is there anyway I could cover it up without haveing to repaint the whole thing?

yes, just go to an auto parts store and get a small can of touch-up paint. use the small brush in the can to cover up the chip.

^ that and if there is a small bump where you applied the paint you can wet sand over it to make it smoother.

here`s a little trick for ya
wet sand it with 1,000 take your touch up paint apply it to the chip let it dry i say an hour or so
come back sand it with 1,500 re apply the touch up paint let it dry
last sand it with 2,000 and buf the hood it works for me it`s not totaly repaired the correct way but it is a cheap and easy fix
