Ok today I put in some new headlights on the cavy. Some of you out there have had a hard time getting your headlight housings out to change the bulb, others have not. But im going to tell those of you who have had a hard time how to make your housing pop out in 3 seconds.

1. Take your housings out, try not to break anything, separate the main housing from the corner housing.
2. IF you have this plastic part on your main housing cut it off. (See picture) It will be the plastic part closest to the corner lens housing.



3. Re-Attach your corners to the other housing and slid back in.


You can now slide your housings in and out in under 3 seconds with no haste. The only down side to this was that it made the lights a little loose, but nothing serious or even noticeable. So like I said some of you might like it, or hate it but thats my 2 cents on how to make headlight housings easy to remove.

Yeah I got sick of treating them like a baby getting them out. Now they slide out with no problems.

there's nothing better than a loose headlight when you're on a bumpy road.
