I have seen a lot of questions from people asking what tint is legal in their state. On another forum, someone posted a link to a chart that shows the tint laws in each state. Here is that link. Hope it helps people out.

yea it says california is 70 too or something.. u cant have any tint on front windows here.. wrong

There is a law, but there are no percentages given. You just have to be able to see into the car.
I know in Florida a lot of people have dark 5% but depending on where you are in FL you may or may not get harrassed.

NY = almost no tint on ANY windows now... sux ass... i don't kno how much they are enforcing the back 2 windows and rear window now... but i know that the fronts are enforced heavily with no receipts or pictures allowed anymore
kinda sux... but too many cops gettin killed cuz of it?
