I'm trying to replace my worn out exhaust to replace with a cat-back. Now I've done this before, but just took the cat off with the mid-pipe. The mid pipe bolts though snapped off in the cat, which is still onthe car. I didn't plan on taking the cat off, and don't want to being that the other end is rusted just as badly and don't want to replace everything. I've tried bolt-out extractors, but they just snapped as soon as they locked on. My only option left seems like drilling out the studs, does anyone have advice?

yea, i would tap them out if i was you if they dont come loose. keep trying i suppose so you dont have to do that though. good luck man. i hope it works out for ya.
