Two tone paint scheme
Wednesday, July 27, 2005 11:30 AM
I need some ideas for a good two toned paint scheme. Post pictures of your two tone paint schemes or let me know some ideas. The colors I am using are orion silver, strata blue, and a sand grey dividing line. I need some ideas of what color to us on top/ what color to use on bottom. How to do it (whether I use a straight line to divide the colors or something with a little more edge). I just some visual aides!

& yes, I've searched! =)

i am doing a 3 tone but it will sorta look like a 2 tone......i am going to have a metallic silver line come down right under my taillights come down the side of the car and have some design up front with a kandy black or black cherry up top and a royal blue on bottom

Nope, she made it come up that way, some fiberglass and some work and thats the finished product. I saw the bumper when she first got it, it fit horribly.
Sami,
Don't tell me that car is not even buffed yet and you are already gonna change the color?

The front bumper was a regular fiberglass drift front. We built the piece that meets the hood out of fiberglass (many hours of sanding).I don't believe you can buy a drift front that has that piece. I'm pretty positive that the urethane ones don't have that piece and I am 100% positive the fiberglass kits don't. =) I am thinking of selling it though~ the front is too low for where I live, but it all depends on how the Avenger looks and lines up with my side skirts.
Anyway....

Keep the ideas coming please!!

Ohhhhh it fit so perfect when I first got it... hehehe
It was made for a 95-99 though... so I couldn't expect it to be a nice clean fit, but it would have been an awful fit even on a 95-99.

Nah' I may keep my color for a little while-- It would be nice to at least see it wetsanded and buffed before I change it. I am just fooling around with some ideas- possibly for Zach's piece... see if we find something that inspires us!
