so my car is almost ready to paint and i dont know what color to choose, i was going to go just a darker purple, im not doing the door jams so i cant really change the car to an orange or anything extreme (or can i, will it look ok) anyway im also shaving doors and trunk/molding kit, pics are alvailble here --->

google the website, and call the closest local number, they will be able to give you a local retailer so you can go check out their stuff!! SOOOO many more options than HOK... and decently priced!!

Like I said, get the number closest to you from their website, the representative will be able to direct you to your local supplier, where they should have their color chip book... and should be able to help you with what color combo you would want to go with. With all the options they have, the possibilities are endless!!!
you could do ppg`s harlequin colors, or candy colors, i personally thin HOK sucks

X-otic has just about everything you could imagine, Candee's, flakes, crystals, etc... etc... and it normally won't run you an arm and a leg.
I priced a base, Candee color, and flake to do my whole car... just a hair under $700 for EVERYTHING. Base/basemaker, candee/catalyst, clear etc... etc...
go house of kolors, sweet looking paint if your going for a custom look. You can do it without doing the door jams depending on what color your car is, since its dark purple i think if you did it a bright orange with some dark purple "graphic" type of things it would look nice. thats my opinion.

I love HOK. I have a candy color and absolutely love it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Just gotta make sure it stayes polished if it sits in the sun otherwise it will start to fade, but if its garaged it makes it easier. Mine is garaged and I polish mine all the time. SHINEY!
what if i changed the whole color of the car? would it look bad since im not doing the door jams?, i was also thinking orange base, and purple crytals, whats a good combo with purple????
good with purple i think would be orange or yellow.
