Ok, i know how to remove the mirror assembly from the door, But how can i access the Internals of the mirrior without breaking the glass?

Well if i can get in there, i intend to make some led markers, and to light up the inside with Blue leds, so when the mirror is in place the blue will glow around the mirror. Just for shows and stuff, or ill connect it to my alarm light.

i'll check monday when i get to work. there has gotta be a way cause the body shop takes them out when they paint a new mirror.

The glass part of the mirror just pulls out, just push one side in and the other is out more, slip your finger in there and pull with a little force and it snaps out.
I wouldn't recommend pulling it apart ..........u may be luck and get it apart without breaking but putting it back together is alittle hard.
Jackalope u don't take the mirror out to paint them ....u just mask it off...

yes. dont take them out unless you must.
(you may break the clips on the mirror that hold it on. etc)
or if the mirror is actually broken

I tryed it. Mirror came off real easy, BUT was a real Pain in da butt to put make it. But i did figure out how to easily.
