origianly i was gonna put on an 02 trunk and carbon taillights, then i thought "why be like the other 200000000000000000000 cavaliers on the road, lets be different". and this is what i came up with

well i didn't mean i was gonna be the first ever to have it done, i meant that in my town it seems every cav has aftermarket tails, and this way, mine is pretty unique from the crowd
IMO it looks a ton better than just putting on a 2002 trunklid and aftermarket tails

I'll be the one to say that I think it looks 1000% better than just slapping 95-02 tails on it and being done with it. Sure, it's been done before, but there is NO such thing as being original when it comes to cars. As soon as you do something that hasn't been done before, either 1293 people say how stupid you are and how ugly it looks, or everyone copies you.

You painted the small ring of red around the backround up light... Isn't that an actual brake light too?
How much did it cost to get done? I'm thinking of getting this done on my black 05 too.
its the least expensive way to set your car apart from the others. i did it when i bought my cavalier about 2 years ago i even had some kid stop me and ask where i got the
skyline taillights for my car. i got a kick out of it, but now so many people around here are starting to do it i got the toyota caviler tails for my car.

anyways it look damn good man sets ya aside from the crowd a little hell so what if someone else has it done at least it looks different from stock
to worry about if its been done because there is nothing new under the sun and by that i mean that anything that can be done to cavy HAS been done at one point or another. so just do what you like...

the ring around the reverse light isn't brake lights, its just part of that reflector, which i still have reflectors in the brake lights.
it was cheap to do, i just got a pint of auto paint from napa, and my brother is an auto body mechanic so I took the lights off and he taped up the reverse, marker and brake lights and sprayed away
and i think you can do it on the 2002 and below, but i think it looks better on the 03 and up because of the fact that the lights are like little bubles on the 03+, so it looks better painted
oh and between the road, dealerships and junkyards i think there is about 200000000000000000000 cavaliers
